2002 World Series
As I worked on this painting I was stationed in an area near the press box where I had a commanding view of the field, direct access to some of the fans, and just enough elbow room to do my work. When they flashed my work-in-progress on the scoreboard, the crowd sent up a cheer. I felt like I was on the field making an important play!
