Afternoon by the River Seine, by Robert Finale

My wife and I decide to stop for lunch within the city of Paris. After little deliberation, we decide to bring our meals to a beautiful location near the river, Seine. In the distance the beautiful cathedral, Notre Dame, can be seen quite clearly. The gargoyles on top of the cathedral act as silent sentries, protecting their surroundings from encroaching invaders intent on stealing away the very beauty Paris has to offer.
