My grandmother Nancy Bartlett came over from England in hopes of seeing this monument. She stayed and fell in love and got married. She eventually became a citizen of United States at age 92. My grandmother supported my painting in those early years and I think she would love this rendition of our freedom. Cheers to America and continued hopes and dreams!!! |
