For over 50 years, Jim Warren has been creating unique, but thoughtful and whimsical paintings. Known for painting some of the most memorable modern art, Jim continues to evolve his craft to this very day.

From classics such as Mother Nature, Running Against The Wind, All Dogs Go To Heaven and Earth: Love It Or Lose It, to modern classics like Marilyn, Creative Energy and Seems Like Yesterday, Jim has been inspiring people all over the world.

Jim’s art can be found on over 100 major cruise lines, throughout the United States in Village Gallery and other galleries, and in stores and private collections everywhere.

Released in February of 1980, Bob Seger’s album “Against The Wind” was a huge commercial success, reaching #1 on the Billboard 200, selling 3.7 million copies and going 5X platinum.

I was commissioned to paint the cover for the album and it presented a new challenge for me – painting horses. Although my specialty was people, I took on the challenge and the result was a unique painting and I won the Grammy in 1980 for it.
